                 Boat Zincs and Zinc Anodes

Zinc anodes are used on many different parts of a boat. The shaft of an inboard motor, inside heat exchangers, under the cavitation plate of outboard and sterndrive motor, on the trim tabs, on the rudders, and some also bolt directly to the hull of the vessel.

There are 3 types of anodes for your boat.

Aluminum Anodes: Which are designed for use in salt, brackish, or fresh water.

Magnesium Anodes: Which are designed specifically for use in freshwater

Zinc Anodes: Which are designed for Salt/Brackish water.
